Dr. Meheranjali Bade, ex HOD Foreign Languages Dept & Counselor, NDA

Dr. Meheranjali V Bade was awarded the degree of Masters of Arts in Comparative Literature with distinction from the Patrice Lumumba Peoples Friendship University, Moscow. She has a doctorate in linguistics from the same University. She was Head of Department, Foreign languages, at the National Defence Academy, and retired on 31 May 2019 after holding the chair for ten years.

In addition to teaching Russian, she was also active as an academic cadet-counselor foor 25 years. A visiting faculty at the SP university of Pune, Symbiosis International Business and the International Institute of Information Technology, Pune, Symbiosis. She has guided several M Phil and research projects and published papers both in India and Russia. She is also and advisor to several universities in India. Has a keen interest in sports, outdoor activities and yoga, she is an enthusiastic  mountaineer.
