Col Vinay Baliram Dalvi, ex-4 Maratha LI (1971-1979), is the founder and Director of Mission Victory India, and the Associate Editor of the Fauji India Magazine. He is a third-generation army man and an avid sportsman, who saw the Army Physical Training Corps (APTC) as the most fitting platform to continue his passion, where he served for the remainder of his career. He has been a vocal critique of the current military recruitment, selection, training and personnel management system, calling for massive reforms in the same through his 5 books: Role Model – A Key to Quality Military Leadership (2010), Sun Tzu’s – The Art of War (Pocket Book-2012) and the Victory India anthology (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019).
